We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) . This role requires strong technical leadership, architecture experience, and the ability to build secure, high-performance backend systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications and microservices. Build and support cloud-native applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Quarkus , and modern Java frameworks. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, gRPC, GraphQL, and event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka . Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on Kubernetes , OpenShift , EKS , GKE , or AKS . Design and implement scalable solutions on AWS , Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , and Microsoft Azure . Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency in distributed environments. Design and optimize database solutions using Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Redis . Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Maven , and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform . Implement security best practices including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, RBAC, Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault , and secure API development. Monitor application health using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ELK Stack . Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and driving engineering best practices. Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java (Java 8–21) . Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices , and distributed system design. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka , REST APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architectures. Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift , and container orchestration platforms. Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure . Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Redis . Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD , and build tools such as Maven . Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, performance tuning, and scalability. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and version control systems such as Git. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Quarkus, Akka, Scala, or Python . Knowledge of Terraform, Helm , and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Experience with OpenTelemetry , distributed tracing, and observability platforms. Familiarity with Vertex AI , cloud-native AI services, or modern data platforms.
