About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services on AWS cloud technologies, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. As an AWS Backend Developer, you will work on building RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and serverless and microservices-based architectures for high scalability and availability. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using AWS cloud technologies. - Build RESTful APIs and event-driven services using AWS services. - Develop and deploy solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and other core AWS services. - Implement security best practices such as IAM roles and policies, encryption, and secure data handling. - Build and maintain serverless and microservices-based architectures for high scalability and availability. - Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, product managers, and solution architects. - Identify and resolve production issues related to AWS infrastructure and backend services. - Participate in Proof-of-Concept (PoC) to evaluate new AWS services and backend frameworks. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in backend or cloud application development. - Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and IAM. - Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python. - Experience with AWS CDK / Infrastructure as Code. - Good understanding of serverless and microservices architectures. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools. - Working knowledge of security best practices in AWS.
