About the role
Job Summary Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability. Responsibilities Administer and troubleshoot IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Sterling Integrator (SI), IBM Connect:Direct, Sterling Secure Proxy, and IBM HTTP Server. Monitor file transfer services, system health, logs, and performance to ensure seamless business operations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents while leading root cause analysis and incident resolution. Support secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, and Connect:Direct. Administer and maintain Linux, Unix, and Windows environments supporting MFT infrastructure. Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and ThousandEyes for proactive issue detection. Follow ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management. Drive automation and continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and system stability.
