Technical Lead, Firmware Testing

Develop system test strategies, plans, and execute testing, including creating test automation frameworks and scripts. Review product requirements, designs, and provide feedback to development teams. Drive initiatives to improve overall quality, effectiveness of testing, and quick turnaround of bugs. Apply knowledge of network and wireless protocols and test methodology to develop test cases and execution. Create and maintain relevant documentation in a CMMi and related context. Collaborate efficiently with local and European test and design teams, gathering and integrating best practices. Perform stress and long-term tests via Automation/Manual. Proactively seek continuous improvements to Test coverage, execution, and automation. Analyze technical requirements in view of testing and identify design for testability needs. Understand C/C++ based code and provide first-level analysis of issues and propose fixes/solutions. Relevant tertiary qualification: B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech. Exposure to Metering is an added advantage. Familiarity with Unix environments, SQL, Web application testing, and REST web services.
