About the role
As a UI Designer at EY, you will be responsible for overseeing the digital user experience, evolving EY brand user experience across various Martech products, supporting stakeholders in personalizing pages, and contributing as a creative designer for the DM Playbook - Product Knowledgebase repository. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team to sign off on design-related UI/UX tickets, questions, and issues - Developing standard UI components and style guides for company-wide use - Effectively communicating designs to developers and key stakeholders - Addressing product marketing and business needs - Conducting industry research to stay updated on best practices, competitor UI designs, and emerging technologies - Providing support and internal training - Observing and analyzing usability testing sessions - Developing consistent and intuitive architectures - Supporting the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure features are implemented as intended To qualify for this role, you must have experience with web and mobile app design, working knowledge of responsive design, grid principles, industry tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, InVision, Sketch, and the ideation and creation of UI design deliverables like sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi layouts, and prototypes. Additionally, you should have working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, along with experience in creating rapid prototypes. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to innovate and develop out-of-the-box solutions to complex user interaction problems, strong presentation skills, and experience with HTML5, CSS3, and various JavaScript frameworks in interface design. In this role, you will work with technologies and tools such as content management systems (AEM, Wordpress, etc.), marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Sprinklr, Hubspot, etc.), and MS Office tools.
