Battery Cyber Security BMS Engineer

We have a position for a battery cyber security BMS engineer (NOT IT cyber security) with experience in generating cyber security assessments.

What you will be doing:

Own and generate all Cyber Security Work Products for Battery

Conduct Threat Analyses / Risk Assessments for new products, threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

Define robustness improvements and concept designs for incidents and vulnerabilities.

Demonstrate proof of concepts for Client cybersecurity protection and detection features.

Verify and validate cybersecurity features and product capabilities.

Develop, train, track compliance with, and improve cybersecurity processes, standards, and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:

EV Battery

EV Powertrain

Working experience with ISO 21434 or CRA (EU Cyber Resilience Act) or other Cyber Security Standards

Experience generating cyber security artifacts

Electronics base software architecture (SW architecture or device drivers)

Electronics OR controls background

Good communicator – written and verbal

Great collaborator

What you’ll need to be successful:

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.

Working experience in Controls, preferably on Batteries or EV powertrain components

Working experience with ISO 21434 or CRA (EU Cyber Resilience Act) or other Cyber Security Standards

Working experience on Controls Reqs., creation of test cases and validation plans

Prior experience with TARA or HEAVENS assessments is highly preferred

Working experience on Controls Requirements

Working experience in BMS Controls is highly preferred

Experience with System Engineering and Requirements Management

Experience with Electronics base software architecture (SW architecture or device drivers)

Experience with Windchill RV&S is preferred

Experience with an ALM tool for requirements management
