BMS Systems Engineer

We have a position for a BMS systems engineer with BMS experience.

What you will be doing:

Own BMS Controls Features and Requirements

Support Battery and system component issues of all full electric vehicle, using a multidisciplinary approach – this will involve broad engineering expertise, including mechanical, electrical, systems, software, and process design.

Support component level, sub-system and system level testing for performance, reliability and durability.

Lead any issue resolution related to system software , controls and calibration . Work closely with software development team to define requirements for software change and validate released software per program requirements

Support system validation and field tests - Participate in in-depth analysis of test data.

Develop validation test methods and protocols. Use DOE best practices.

Generate technical reports and presentations as needed with the ability to present information in a clear and organized manner.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:

EV Battery

EV Powertrain

System Engineering and Requirements Management

Systems Engineering best practices

Electronics base software architecture (SW architecture or device drivers)

Electronics OR controls background

Good communicator – written and verbal

Great collaborator

What you’ll need to be successful:

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.

Working experience in BMS Controls

Experience with System Engineering and Requirements Management

Experience with Electronics base software architecture (SW architecture or device drivers)

Experience with Windchill RV&S is preferred

Experience with an ALM tool for requirements management
