Design Engineer ( Solidworks )

Reports To: Team Lead Location: Bangalore Design Engineer (Solidworks) Core Responsibilities: Good in CAD tools like SolidWorks, Auto CAD Experienced in working with IIoT products and electrical enclosures Knowledge of Ingress protection enclosures designs Knowledge of product certifications like ATEX, CE, Exd, Exe, etc Experience in the design of plastic and sheet metal components Experience in the electro-mechanical product is added advantage Experience in new product design development Knowledge in manufacturing process 3D Printing Knowledge in the sourcing of standard parts Good communication presentation skills Experience in design calculations for mechanical engineering Hands-on experience in handling large assemblies Experience in the detailed design of individual components, following standard design guidelines and manufacturing aspects. Selection of bought-out items, including cylinder selection with necessary calculations Experience in the application of GDT in manufacturing drawing Experience in working with global teams, handling activities independently, and taking ownership Strong analytical skills, Excellent communication, interpersonal presentation skills Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering branch Experience: 2 to 4 + years
