ETO Engineer

Design Documentation ETO Engineer Reports To: Global Engineering teams Location: Bangalore Function: Industrial Product Design Engineer -Inventor Responsibilities of the candidate: Execute ETO orders (engineering and design) of fluid/gas loading-unloading products and allied parts for oil and gas, chemical, fuel, and food and beverages. Creation of 3D part modelling, assembly, and detail drawing using Inventor and Auto CAD as per Ingersoll Rand standard, and PLM release in Vault and SAP. Apply design calculations to demonstrate capability of design. Creation of manufacturing drawings with necessary dimensioning and tolerances for all the required components and assemblies Preparing cover and transmittal sheets, uploading, retrieval, storage, and tracking of project documents. Job responsibility involves spending 50% of time on design and 50% on project document management. Cross functional global team collaboration. Requirements: 2 to 4 years of experience in 2D and 3D CAD modelling using Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault SAP PLM. Experience in creation of casting, machining, sheet metal parts, and welding design models. Experience in 2D to 3D conversion, GDT, and tolerance stack-up studies. Proactive, self-motivated individual with ability to multi-tasking. Experience in Engineer-to-order (ETO) is an advantage. Qualifications: BE Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 2 to 4 years of overall experience in Autodesk Inventor
