Design Engineer - Structure Reports To: Team Lead Location: Bangalore Function: Product Engineering Design Engineer - Structural Engineer DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE: Structural Engineer who is concerned with the analysis of Thickeners and other STEEL STRUCTURES using Staad.Pro software, the design of the members according to Indian and various international codes of practice as applicable, the design of the connections. Responsibilities of the candidate: Analysis design of steel structures in accordance with Indian and/or International codes and standards. Vertification of structural behaviour and member designs. Design of connections for steel structures. Preparation of design calculation reports. Design of anchorages for foundations and preparation of foundation load data. Review of 3D models Inter-disciplinary coordination COMPETENCIES- Essential: In-depth understanding of steel structures design Sound knowledge of analysis and design principles of seismic and wind. Familiarity with Indian codes. Knowledge of American and/or European codes is an advantange Education: B.E. in Civil Engineering Experience: 2 to 4 years
