As a Structural Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, project and resource management, collaboration with stakeholders, mentorship and team development, ensuring standards and continuous improvement, problem-solving and execution, and effective communication and reporting. Your main responsibilities will include: - Providing strong leadership, guidance, and oversight to the structural engineering team. - Ensuring that designs meet project objectives, adhere to industry standards, and comply with regulatory requirements. - Managing multiple concurrent projects, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and ensuring timely delivery. - Collaborating across disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural design within larger project frameworks. - Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and designers while maintaining design quality and fostering growth. - Ensuring compliance with QA/QC protocols and leading process improvements. - Troubleshooting design and technical challenges effectively and providing innovative solutions. - Leading project meetings, preparing progress reports, and presenting to stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). - Relevant professional licensure such as PE, Chartered Engineer, IStructE desirable. - 20+ years of experience in structural design; 5+ years in leadership roles highly preferred. - Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Revit, BIM tools). - Deep understanding of structural systems and relevant codes. - Strong leadership, mentoring, team-building, communication, and organizational skills. - Excellent problem-solving aptitude and decision-making capabilities.
