Django Developer

Role Overview: The Django Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure backend services using Django and Django REST Framework. Your main focus will be on developing clean RESTful APIs, optimizing PostgreSQL schemas and queries, and integrating third-party services. Collaboration with frontend, product, and QA teams will be essential to deliver reliable and testable features. Participation in code reviews and architecture discussions will also be a key part of your role. Enforcing best practices for performance, security, and maintainability, as well as contributing to deployment and operational readiness in Linux environments, will be crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining backend applications using Django and Django REST Framework - Developing, documenting, and managing RESTful APIs for web and mobile clients - Optimizing PostgreSQL schemas and queries for performance and reliability - Integrating third-party services and APIs securely and efficiently - Implementing best practices for security, scalability, testing, and maintainability - Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions - Collaborating with frontend, product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of skilled experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF) - Robust Python programming skills and understanding of object-oriented design - Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and migrations - Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs (versioning, pagination, authentication) - Familiarity with Git-based workflows and code reviews - Comfortable working in Linux environments and following deployment best practices - Solid debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills - Experience in Authentic AI is a plus Role Overview: The Django Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure backend services using Django and Django REST Framework.
