AI Backend Engineer Node.js & GenAI (India)

Location -Bengaluru About Us We are building an AI-powered autonomous household CFO for India's mass-affluent consumers. Our mission is to simplify personal finance through intelligent automation, enabling users to make smarter financial decisions, manage their wealth more effectively, and achieve their long-term financial goals. Responsibilities Build and scale Node.js backend services and REST APIs. Own end-to-end backend architecture, including system design, scalability, caching, queues, and reliability. Develop AI-powered features using LLMs and agentic workflows. Leverage AI tools across the SDLC for development, testing, and debugging. Optimize databases, APIs, and third-party integrations. Ensure production stability and drive engineering best practices. Requirements 6+ years of backend development experience with Node.js in large-scale B2C product companies. Strong expertise in system design, backend architecture, APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience building and shipping AI/LLM-powered products. Proficient in using LLMs and AI tools throughout the development lifecycle. Experience with greenfield backend development and scalable distributed systems. Secure career history; startup, WealthTech/FinTech, or high-growth consumer product experience preferred. Comfortable joining an early-stage, seed-funded startup, working from the office (6 days/week), and taking end-to-end backend ownership. Tier-1 engineering college and prior founding/early engineering team experience are preferred. .
