About the role
Department: Water Resources / Infrastructure Engineering Experience: 3-10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to design, analyze, and manage hydraulic systems for water resources, drainage, irrigation, flood management, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, river engineering, and ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis for infrastructure and water resource projects. Design stormwater drainage systems, culverts, channels, pipelines, and hydraulic structures. Develop hydraulic models for rivers, floodplains, drainage networks, and water conveyance systems. Conduct flood risk assessments and watershed studies. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and design documentation. Review project specifications, survey data, and environmental requirements. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, environmental, and transportation engineers. Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international engineering standards. Support project planning, tendering, and construction activities by providing technical expertise. Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments as required. Assist in project execution, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Master's Degree in Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or Hydrology is preferred. 3-10 years of experience in hydraulic and hydrologic engineering projects. Strong understanding of water resources, drainage systems, flood management, and hydraulic structures. Experience in infrastructure, highways, urban development, irrigation, or water supply projects.
