Senior Structural Draftsman

POSITION SUMMARY : - We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Draft Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing detailed structural drawings, collaborating with design teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will play a key role in developing high-quality technical drawings for various infrastructure and road projects. Sr. Structural Draftsman : - • Prepare and review structural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software. • Develop detailed reinforcement drawings, steel structures, and general arrangement (GA) drawings for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. • Work closely with structural engineers and architects to interpret design requirements and implement them into drawings. • Ensure that all drawings comply with engineering codes, standards, and client specifications. • Perform quality checks and revisions on drawings before submission. • Maintain document control and ensure proper filing and archiving of drawings. • Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, and site teams to resolve drawing-related queries. • Assist in quantity estimation and material take-offs based on structural drawings. • Keep up to date with the latest drafting techniques, software, and industry best practices. C ustomer Satisfaction : - Responsible for driving • Customer satisfaction • Change in customer perception • Ensuring deliverable as per contract • Ensuring CTQ’s for the customer are met in line with contract or with a change order • Ensuring a strong and positive relationship with customer or related parties without affecting contractual deliverables • Responsible for increasing a customer satisfaction index with respect to the target set by the organization SOP : - • Ensure that participation is made in making / establishing the Standard Operating Processes (SOP) either on organization / department / project level • Ensure that the SOP’s that have been agreed are deployed and adhered to 100% Education level and/or relevant experience(s) : - • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Drafting. • 10+ years of experience in structural drafting for buildings, bridges, or industrial projects. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and other drafting tools. • Strong knowledge of steel, RCC, and pre-stressed concrete structures. • Familiarity with IS and IRC is preferred. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
