Role: AWS Cloud Engineer We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Administrator with strong expertise in Linux administration, AWS services, and a valuable understanding of DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience, hold an AWS certification, and preferably have experience with security and networking solutions. Responsibilities - Deploy, configure, and manage Linux and Windows servers on AWS, including EC2, EBS, ELB, ALB, SSL, Security Groups, IAM Roles, and Policies. - Demonstrate proficiency in Linux platforms and configure web servers such as Apache and Tomcat. - Design and maintain AWS multi-tier architectures, including serverless solutions. - Manage VPCs, subnets, ACLs, routing tables, and implement AWS native security controls (Security Groups, WAF, etc.). - Configure and manage AWS RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) for high availability and performance. - Integrate and manage FortiGate firewall and AppTrana VPN for secure connectivity and application protection. - Create and manage S3 buckets with appropriate retention policies for application and database logs. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, CF. - Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment processes (preferred experience). - Implement and manage version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). - Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency. - Utilize AWS Security Hub and Inspector for security posture management. - Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration (preferred). - Apply OS and security patches across cloud services. Qualifications - Minimum 6+ years of experience in AWS and Linux administration. - AWS Certification (Solutions Architect Associate or higher) is mandatory. - Strong knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure management. - Experience with Terraform and automation tools. - Preferred: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with FortiGate firewall, AppTrana VPN, and AWS RDS. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
