Java Support Engineer (Telangana)

Job Summary: - We are seeking a dedicated Java Support Engineer to join our application support team. - In this role, you will be responsible for the technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our Java-based applications. - You will be the go-to person for resolving production issues, ensuring high availability and performance, and providing timely solutions to ensure a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities : - - Provide L2/L3 support for Java-based applications in a production environment. - - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues reported by users or monitoring systems. - - Perform root cause analysis of critical incidents and implement permanent fixes. - - Manage application deployments and maintenance releases. - - Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and performance. - - Create and maintain technical documentation for support procedures. Required Qualifications: - - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - - 3-5 years of experience in application support, with a focus on Java technologies. - - Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, application servers (e.g., Tomcat, WebLogic), and web services. - - Good understanding of Linux/Unix and shell scripting. - - Experience with relational databases (SQL) and troubleshooting application data issues. Preferred Qualifications: - - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Dynatrace, ELK, Splunk). - - Familiarity with Incident Management and ITIL processes. - - Understanding of cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
