Associate Software Engineer Backend Location: Kochi Experience: 13 Years Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred About the Role: Mygate is looking for a highly motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our Backend Engineering team. We are seeking technically strong candidates with hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of backend development fundamentals, microservices architecture, and RESTful API development, along with a passion for solving complex engineering problems in a fast-paced product environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services.Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems.Work closely with senior engineers to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Requirements 13 years of hands-on experience in backend software development.Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.Good experience in designing and developing REST APIs.Hands-on experience working with Microservices Architecture.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and database concepts.Experience with SQL databases and version control systems such as Git.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on scalable web applications or product-based environments.Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
