About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment across various environments. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and enhancing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, developing solutions for automating software deployment and configuration management, and creating monitoring systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications. In addition, you will be leading incident management and response efforts, conducting system troubleshooting, and guiding junior engineers to foster a collaborative DevOps culture. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for code integration, testing, and deployment. - Oversee and enhance cloud environments using IaC principles. - Develop solutions for automating software deployment and configuration management. - Create and maintain monitoring systems for application performance. - Lead incident management and response efforts. - Troubleshoot system issues to improve performance and scalability. - Guide junior engineers and train teams on new technologies and best practices. - Participate in planning and architecture discussions for on-prem and cloud deployments. Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of CI/CD tools, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform), and configuration management tools (GitOps, ArgoCD). - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash for workflow automation. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for system observability. - Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to lead initiatives, mentor junior team members, and drive DevOps practices adoption.
