Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at Neemtree, you will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, automating processes, ensuring system reliability, optimizing performance & cost, leading and mentoring junior engineers, and participating in planning and architecture discussions for on-prem and cloud deployments. You will need to have a deep understanding of various technical tools and services to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment processes. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, for efficient code integration, testing, and deployment. - Oversee and enhance cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate setup, scaling, and management of IT resources. - Develop and implement solutions to automate software deployment, configuration management, and routine maintenance tasks using scripting languages like Python and Bash. - Create and maintain monitoring systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications, troubleshoot system issues, and lead incident management and response efforts. - Conduct system troubleshooting, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve overall system performance, scalability, and reduce costs. - Guide junior engineers, foster a collaborative DevOps culture, train teams on new technologies and best practices, and lead initiatives to drive the adoption of DevOps practices. - Participate in planning and architecture discussions for on-prem and cloud deployments, designing efficient and scalable solutions using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Applications (B.Tech/B.E, BCA, M.Tech) with 9-15 years of experience in DevOps roles. - Deep understanding of CI/CD tools, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and configuration management tools (GitOps, ArgoCD). - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash for automating workflows and enhancing development processes. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for system observability and performance analysis. - Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with development and operations teams. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex infrastructure issues. - Ability to lead initiatives, mentor junior team members, and drive the adoption of DevOps practices.
