About the role
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (SSE) Company: Newgen Software Technologies Ltd. Location: Hyderabad Work Mode: Work from Office & Alternate Saturday working We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality enterprise software solutions using Java technologies. The role requires strong technical expertise and experience across the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Java, J2EE, SQL/Oracle . Participate in design discussions, coding, code reviews, unit testing, system testing, and UAT. Develop and maintain software modules while adhering to coding standards and quality processes. Perform troubleshooting, log analysis, and database query optimization. Prepare technical documents including design documents, test cases, deployment plans, and release documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery. Support client demos, POCs, deployments, and production issue resolution. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets . Experience with SQL, Oracle Database . Good understanding of OOPs concepts, Design Patterns, SDLC, and Web Applications . Experience in troubleshooting and performance optimization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Eligibility Criteria Education: B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) or MCA Experience: 2-4 Years of relevant software development experience (internships not considered) Minimum 60% throughout academics Strong Java development experience is mandatory Desired Competencies Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills Flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel, if required
