As a key player in the Japanese market, we bring the latest technologies from our group companies and provide worker dispatch and paid employment placement services.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with proficiency in DB2/400 database administration. In this role, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of DB2/400 databases, ensuring smooth operations and high availability. The ideal candidate will have experience with data migration, transformation, SQL, and stored procedures on the AS/400 platform.Key Responsibilities:Database Administration: Manage and maintain DB2/400 databases, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.Data Migration & Transformation: Lead data migration and transformation efforts, ensuring smooth data transfer and integration across systems.SQL & Stored Procedures: Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure efficient data handling and system performance on AS/400.Database Optimization: Perform regular database tuning to optimize performance and minimize downtime.Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to minimize disruptions.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including developers and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of database systems.
