Django and DevOps Engineer

We're hiring a Django and DevOps Engineer to build and maintain backend systems that are reliable and scalable. You'll work on both development and infrastructure, ensuring smooth deployments and high availability. This is an on-site role in Chennai, India, with a salary range of 2.9 to 3.9 LPA. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and Django, writing clean, efficient code.Design and optimize MySQL database schemas for performance and scalability.Build and maintain APIs using REST and/or GraphQL, and implement authentication with JWT and OAuth.Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Ubuntu-based VPS, configuring Nginx or Apache for optimal performance.Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments from code commit to production.Troubleshoot server downtime and security issues, ensuring high availability and stability.Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Django framework.Strong knowledge of Linux (especially Ubuntu) server administration and command-line operations.Proven experience configuring Apache and Nginx web servers in production environments.Hands-on management of VPS or cloud infrastructure, including deployment and monitoring.Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation workflows for streamlined releases.Ability to independently handle production deployments and troubleshoot issues calmly.Who Should Apply: You're an engineer who enjoys owning both backend code and the infrastructure it runs on.
