About the role
Role Summary Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Quality Management processes. Work with business stakeholders to map quality workflows from inspection planning to certificates and notifications into the SAP system. Key Responsibilities Gather requirements from business teams (QA/QC, production, procurement) Configure QM master data: inspection plans, sampling schemes, catalogs, dynamic modification rules, QM material master views Set up integrations: QM MM (source inspection, QM in procurement, release codes) QM PP (in-process inspection, inspection lot from production order) QM SD (delivery inspection, certificate profiles) QM PM (maintenance inspection) Configure quality notifications (complaint, problem, internal problem) partner determination, action log, follow-up Set up certificate profiles for customer and supplier certificates (CoA, CoC) Support batch management batch determination, batch derivation, batch status integration with QM Configure stability study process (if pharma/chemical) Lead data migration inspection plans, material master QM data, open inspection lots Create functional specs for RICEFW objects (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows) Support testing unit testing, integration testing, UAT with business users Conduct user training and create documentation (BPD, config docs, test scripts) Post-go-live support incident resolution, root cause analysis, change requests Required Skills & Experience At least 2 end-to-end implementations (ECC or S/4HANA) Strong configuration of inspection plans, sampling, catalogs, notifications, certificates Hands-on integration with MM, PP, SD, PM Good understanding of batch management and classification Experience with S/4HANA QM preferred Basic ABAP debugging ability (a plus) Excellent communication and stakeholder management Good to Have SAP QM certification Experience in regulated industries (pharma, chemical, automotive, food & beverage) Knowledge of SAP DMC (Digital Manufacturing Cloud) or LIMS integration Exposure to Fiori apps for QM .
