About the role
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Define, coordinate and facilitate go-to-market strategies for product initiatives. Ensuring strategies are aligned with product growth goals and objectives.
Manage product marketing workstream within the Pella Product Management process from ideation/kickoff through completion of initiatives, driving broad cross-functional coordination.
Develop/refine product positioning, target audience messaging and meaningful claims – bringing them to life in compelling, memorable ways. Utilize test-and-learn mentality to consistently strengthen and refine product positioning, messaging, etc.
Collaborate with the content team to identify photo shoot/video shoot location potential. Responsible for ordering product for shoots and serve as on-site product representative for photo and video shoots.
Lead product reviews across brand/segment/channel (web, literature, video, displays, photos, content, etc.) collaborating with project leads. Product Managers and the Marketing Manager to ensure product accuracy and positioning implementation aligns with the overall product strategies.
Facilitate cross-functional marketing launch scoping and ultimately develop, maintain and close budgets affiliated with project marketing initiatives. Regularly sharing with Product Managers and the Marketing Manager Budget versus Actuals reporting for assigned cost centers and providing key insights.
Responsible in conjunction with the project lead to create new sales tools and sales trainings as needed.
Responsible for helping develop and communicate support to the sales organization. May include coordination and product logistics support of sales meetings and national events, and other activities.
Ability to be responsive to changing business needs, manage and prioritize concurrent assignments and handle ambiguity.
Ability to use field visits, feedback from sales management and sales representatives, and external market research to build wealth of information regarding market. Ability to make recommendations to address gaps vs. needs regarding product/brand/channel/segment marketing deliverables.
Conduct project retrospectives to identify opportunities for improvement and enhancements for future initiatives.
Ability to nurture collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Build and continue to keep up with product knowledge and be a product knowledge advocate with internal and external teams.
