Business System Analyst

As a Business Systems Analyst with 4+ years of experience primarily in the Banking and Finance domain, you will be responsible for providing business-critical technical solutions within the Field Administration & Banking Systems, focusing on Banking solutions related to Cash products. Your role will involve acting as the intermediary between the Business and IT organizations to ensure the delivery of complex technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and user requirements effectively. - Identify project interdependencies, manage requirement/scope issues, and drive them to closure. - Translate business and user requirements into detailed system requirements. - Provide solutions to business and tech partners by leveraging domain and analyst expertise. - Utilize appropriate analysis techniques such as process modeling and use cases for each project. - Educate business partners on systems capabilities and the feasibility of specific solutions. - Cultivate effective working relationships with technology teams and business partners. - Ensure timely solution delivery within cost estimates that meet business needs. - Negotiate solutions that satisfy business users and align with the technical architecture. - Support implementation tasks and complete all documentation on assigned projects. Qualifications Required: Must have: - 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the Banking and Finance domain. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, potential issues, and translate them into functional and system requirements. - Prior experience working with databases and basic knowledge of SQL. - Experience in working with REST-based web services and documenting requirements in the form of service specifications. - Ability to apply artificial intelligence tools and concepts to enhance efficiency in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation. Good to have: - Experience in Data management including analysis of existing data sets, requirement documentation for data extract, transformation and load, and requirement gathering for business reporting needs. - Knowledge of Agile methodology practices. - Experience in writing user stories, use case modeling, and business process modeling.
