About the role
As a Cyber Security Lead Analyst at DWS OSM, your role involves having a strong knowledge of end-user tools such as laptops, desktops, virtualization, remote access, printers, and office 365, along with related infrastructure services like telephony, messaging, directories, and office automation. You will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and security evaluations of desktop services and on-premises applications/infrastructure. Your ability to assess and prioritize threats, vulnerabilities, risks, and attack vectors will be crucial in developing effective mitigation strategies. Furthermore, you should be skilled in integrating security into projects and infrastructure following secure-by-design principles. It is essential to enforce Group policies, standards, procedures, and security best practices within the department and communicate risk and security recommendations clearly to stakeholders. You will also support security audits (internal and regulatory) and ensure timely closure of audit recommendations. Acting as the security expert and point of contact for operational security and risk management activities will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be monitoring and following up on vulnerabilities on managed perimeters and defining and reporting on relevant KPIs/KRIs and security alerts. Key Responsibilities: - Strong knowledge of end-user tools and related infrastructure services - Conduct risk assessments and security evaluations - Assess and prioritize threats, vulnerabilities, risks, and attack vectors - Integrate security into projects and infrastructure - Enforce Group policies, standards, procedures, and security best practices - Support security audits and monitor timely closure of recommendations - Act as the security expert and point of contact - Monitor and follow-up on vulnerabilities - Define and report on relevant KPIs/KRIs and security alerts Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in network risk assessment, operational security, and risk management or related fields - Strong understanding of end-user tools, infrastructure compliance frameworks, and risk management principles - Familiarity with security frameworks, tools, and technologies (e.g., ISO 27001/27005, NIST, CIS) In this role, your expertise in risk analysis on the Digital Workplace environment, identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, along with your analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills will be essential for success.
