Lead Network Engineer

As a Lead Network Engineer at our client's dynamic team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, IN, your role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing the company's complex telecommunications network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the network while troubleshooting and resolving network issues promptly. Your expertise in routing and switching protocols, firewall management, VPN technologies, and network monitoring tools will be essential for network architecture planning, capacity management, and deploying new network technologies. Additionally, your background in telecommunications systems and proven ability to lead network projects will be valuable in mentoring junior engineers, contributing to network policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. - Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and reliability. - Ensure network security by implementing and managing security policies, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely and effective solutions. - Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. - Lead and mentor junior network engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. - Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network services with other infrastructure components. - Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry best practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. - In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing/switching protocols. - Hands-on experience with network security technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet). - Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios). - Experience with wireless networking technologies and troubleshooting. - Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
