Key Responsibilities Design, implement, configure, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security. Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activities and potential breaches. Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and implement remediation measures. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Manage and maintain security infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network security is integrated into all aspects of infrastructure design and deployment. Provide technical expertise and guidance on network security matters. Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies. Develop and deliver security awareness training to staff. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and data protection standards. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network security engineering. Proven experience with firewall management (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network architecture. Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN). Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical security concepts clearly. Experience in incident response and forensic analysis. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh .
