About the Role Our client, a major player in the consumer goods sector, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Supply Chain Analyst with a specialization in logistics and transportation, to join their remote team. This role is critical for driving efficiency, cost savings, and strategic improvements across our client's extensive supply chain network. You will be responsible for analyzing complex logistics data, identifying trends, developing data-driven recommendations, and supporting the implementation of supply chain enhancements. The ideal candidate possesses advanced analytical skills, deep knowledge of supply chain principles, and expertise in logistics operations and optimization. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in India. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions impacting our client's distribution, warehousing, and transportation functions. Key Responsibilities Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations, with a specific focus on transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain and logistics performance. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within the logistics network. Conduct data analysis using statistical tools and software to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve delivery times. Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, operations, sales) to implement supply chain improvements. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and strategies to enhance supply chain visibility and effectiveness. Support the development of long-term supply chain strategies and network design. Monitor industry trends and best practices in supply chain and logistics management. Assist in the management of third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Requirements Master's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, with a strong emphasis on logistics and transportation. Proven experience in analyzing large datasets using tools like SQL, Python, R, or advanced Excel. Proficiency with supply chain planning and optimization software (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM, Blue Yonder). In-depth understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, freight management, and route optimization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
