As a senior or lead actuarial analyst on the Loss Reserving team, you'll support reserve analyses across a diverse portfolio covering Commercial, Personal, and Special Lines. You'll complete loss reserving analyses, recommend reserves to the Loss Reserving manager and chief actuary, and share insights with leadership. You’ll also manage reserve reviews by junior analysts. You'll work on integrating acquired business, validating and analyzing data, and identifying opportunities to improve reserving processes and analytics. You'll build strong partnerships with Claims and Product to assess how claim handling and underwriting changes influence reserve decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, take ownership of analyses, and help advance the team’s reserving practices, methodologies, and analytics. Remote work allowed Minimum qualifications A minimum of 6 years of analytical work experience. {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience. {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience. A minimum of 5 passed actuarial examinations for credentialling according to the Casualty Actuarial Society's Syllabus of Basic Education. Preferred skills Advanced knowledge of Excel as well as macros and data extraction tools such as Python, R, SQL, or a related programming language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills.
