Role Overview
This role involves providing comprehensive IT support and system administration within a warehouse and distribution center environment. The administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying end-user computing (EUC) devices, managing IT inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including desktops, printers, and basic network components.
Key Responsibilities:
Train new hires on Mckesson knowledge, procedures, and proprietary software (scale server).
Responsible for troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service on designated equipment.
Perform daily routine checkups of all printers (300) and workstations (156) in the warehouse.
Provide maintenance and disposal of assets, and track the inventory of end-user devices.
Deploy EUC devices and equipment according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Manage IT stockroom operations.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding technical issues and manage escalations.
Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction upon issue closure.
Collaborate closely with the operations team at Shepherdsville, offering guidance on avoiding technical issues and improving operational efficiency through technology.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of troubleshooting desktops and printers.
Working experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting.
Familiarity with the ServiceNow tool.
