About the role
As a Business Analyst EUC Risk Reduction, your primary role will involve supporting initiatives focused on identifying, analyzing, and reducing risks associated with End User Computing (EUC) tools within the BFSI domain. This position emphasizes analysis, remediation support, and strategic collaboration with IT teams, rather than project management or audit activities. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and analyze EUCs such as spreadsheets, VBA macros, bots, and user-developed tools used across business functions. - Assess EUCs for operational, financial, and data integrity risks. - Work closely with business users and IT teams to define solutions for reducing EUC dependency and risk. - Propose strategic remediation options, including automation, simplification, or migration to controlled technology platforms. - Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments for EUC-dependent workflows. - Support the streamlining and standardization of EUCs to improve efficiency and control. - Assist in defining documentation standards for critical EUCs (logic, assumptions, dependencies). - Develop risk summaries, insights, and dashboards for business and technology stakeholders. - Act as a bridge between business and technology teams to ensure accurate requirement translation. Qualifications Required: - Experience as a Business Analyst in the BFSI sector. - Hands-on experience analyzing and rationalizing EUCs, Macros, Bots, and user-built tools. - Strong VBA skills (mandatory). - Python knowledge for automation or data analysis (preferred). - Strong understanding of EUC-related operational and data risks. - Experience collaborating with IT teams to modernize or replace EUCs. - Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. In addition to the above, exposure to banking, financial services, or global captive environments, experience with process improvement, automation, or system migration initiatives, and familiarity with low-code / no-code platforms or RPA tools is considered advantageous for this role.
