We have an opening for Sr. Abap developer role with one of the Big 4 firm for BLR/HYD/KOL Location If interested share your cv highlighting key skills in projects & responsibilities and share it to abhishek.u.upadhyay@pwc.com Role & responsibilities ABAP Resource Tax Technology Team We are seeking an experienced ABAP resource to join our Tax Technology team, supporting the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of solutions across tax engine, tax add-on, tax compliance, and e-invoicing implementations. The primary focus of this role will be on SAP integration and development work related to Vertex and Thomson Reuters tax engine implementations, which represent the majority of the teams project demand.The ideal candidate will have an ABAP Developer Background with a good understanding of SAP business processes, with the ability to collaborate closely with our tax technology team. On rare occasions, they will have to attend client calls as well. Experience with indirect tax integrations is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and support ABAP solutions for tax engine and tax add-on implementations Work on integrations between SAP and third-party tax engines, primarily Vertex and Thomson Reuters Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into technical designs Debug ABAP code and troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, SAP functional, basis, and occasionally, external implementation partners Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with tax and compliance requirements Support tax reporting, compliance and e-invoicing initiatives through custom developments and system enhancements Required Skills and Experience: Strong hands-on ABAP development experience Experience with SAP integration projects Exposure to Vertex and/or Thomson Reuters tax engine implementations is desirable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tax technology initiatives Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
