As an experienced offshore technical support resource for AS400-based JDA MMS (Merchandise Management System) in Bengaluru, your role will involve providing application and operational support, assisting with issue resolution, and supporting ongoing maintenance and enhancements. Key Responsibilities: - Provide L2/L3 support for AS400 JDA MMS applications - Diagnose and resolve production issues, including batch jobs, interfaces, and data errors - Support daily operational activities such as jobs, monitoring, and troubleshooting - Assist with defect fixes, minor enhancements, and configuration changes - Collaborate with onshore teams, business users, and vendors - Create/update technical documentation and support artifacts - Support testing efforts for patches, upgrades, and fixes Required Skills and Experience: - Strong experience with JDA MMS on AS400 - Solid IBM i / AS400 knowledge including DB2, job monitoring, and system utilities - Experience with RPG / CL (read/debug level; development a plus) - Understanding of retail merchandising processes such as items, pricing, and inventory - Experience supporting batch processing and interfaces - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Required Qualifications: - Prior experience supporting JDA in a retail enterprise environment - Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models - Familiarity with change management and ITIL-based support processes - Proficiency with L-series tools Core Competencies: - Strategic thinking - Problem-solving - Communication and collaboration - Accountability and ownership - Adaptability and continuous learning As an experienced offshore technical support resource for AS400-based JDA MMS (Merchandise Management System) in Bengaluru, your role will involve providing application and operational support, assisting with issue resolution, and supporting ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
