SOC Analyst

As an experienced candidate with 2-8 years of experience, you should have a strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS). Additionally, practical experience with SIEM tools such as Azure Sentinel, LogRhythm, Splunk, QRadar, etc. would be beneficial. You should also be familiar with threat intelligence platforms, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and malware analysis. Your responsibilities in this role would include: - Having a solid grasp of common attack vectors, tactics, and techniques - Applying knowledge of incident response methodologies - Analyzing logs from various sources and correlating events for meaningful insights - Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work under pressure during incidents - Utilizing good written and verbal communication skills for documentation and incident reporting To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in BE CSE/IT or a related field, or MCA. Preferred certifications include CEH, GCIH, GCIA, CompTIA CySA+, or equivalent. Additional certifications in cloud security or digital forensics would be advantageous.
