As a Process Engineer, your main purpose will involve reviewing process designs, conducting technical studies and analyses, solving process-related issues, troubleshooting, optimizing plant performance, and implementing best practices. It is crucial to ensure safety and regulatory compliance while sharing knowledge and expertise with team members. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct technical studies and analyses to optimize plant performance. - Develop and implement process designs and improvement initiatives. - Prepare technical studies and technical reports for ongoing projects. - Conduct technical evaluation and field verification of MOC proposals to ensure risk mitigation. - Participate in PSSR field activities to capture process-related observations. - Assist in basic/detail engineering, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for upcoming projects. - Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. - Utilize risk assessment tools such as HIRA, What-If, and HAZOP studies. - Demonstrate proficiency in process and data analysis tools such as Aspen, HYSYS, Pipesim, and OLGA. - Conduct root cause analysis for failure investigations using tools such as Why-Why analysis. - Prepare SOPs, SMPs, and KPIs, and conduct periodic reviews through job cycle checks. - Provide training and technical guidance to team members for competency development. - Possess operational experience in alarm management and alarm rationalization. - Carry out Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR) for new projects and equipment. - Interpret cause & effect diagrams, SOC, alarm & trip registers, and design conditions. - Possess knowledge of SCADA systems and their operating features. - Have experience in Technical Services with strong capability in interpreting technical data. - Ensure deliverables comply with the Operating Management System. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech). - Minimum 3 years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas (E&P) and project design environments.
