The Role- As a Quality Assurance (Manual Tester) , you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of BotPenguin s AI-powered products and platforms. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and Customer Success teams to identify defects, validate requirements, and ensure a seamless user experience across web and mobile applications. What you need for this role- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Manual Testing, Software Quality Assurance, or related roles. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle. Experience in preparing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Hands-on experience in functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing. Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs. Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar platforms. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Ability to analyze requirements and identify edge cases and potential risks. Basic understanding of databases and API testing tools will be an added advantage. Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. What you will be doing- Analyze business and product requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases. Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and platform applications to ensure product quality. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution. Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to clarify requirements and improve product quality. Conduct functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing. Validate bug fixes and ensure successful deployment of releases. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA review activities. Assist in improving QA processes, documentation, and testing standards. Work closely with the Customer Success Team to reproduce, investigate, and resolve customer-reported issues. Help the HR and Operations teams with product-related and technical quality validation whenever required. Perform any other responsibilities as deemed fit by the company based on business and product requirements.
