Battery Engineer

We are looking for a Battery / BMS Engineer with hands-on experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS), battery validation, and EV battery systems. The candidate should have strong exposure to lithium-ion battery technology, testing & validation activities, and integration of battery systems in electric vehicles.rnr":" 1. Work on Battery Management System (BMS) development, integration, and validation activities. 2. Perform battery testing and validation for lithium-ion battery packs and modules. 3. Conduct functional, performance, thermal, environmental, and safety testing of battery systems. 4. Analyse battery parameters such as SOC, SOH, cell balancing, thermal management, and charging/discharging behaviour. 5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including vehicle integration, testing, software, and supplier teams. 6. Support battery pack troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution. 7. Prepare validation reports, test plans, DVPs, and technical documentation. 8. Ensure compliance with automotive and EV safety standards. 9. Work closely with vendors and testing agencies for battery-related activities. Technical / Desired Skills: 1. Strong knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS). 2. Experience in battery validation and testing. 3. Good understanding of lithium-ion battery technology. 4. Exposure to CAN tools, diagnostics, and data analysis. 5. Knowledge of EV battery architecture and thermal management systems. 6. Familiarity with automotive validation standards and testing procedures. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. IT/Software skills required: 1. CANalyzer / CANoe 2. MATLAB / Simulink (preferred) 3. Battery testing equipment and data logging tools. 4. DFMEA / DVP preparation Education background-Essential: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. Education background-Desirable, if any: Master s degree is plus. Other Desired relevant Work Experience / Industry preference Requirements: Relevant, Progressive experience in electric 2W OEM.
