Plastics (Interior and Exterior) Professional

We are looking for a candidate with 3 6 years of experience in Interior & Exterior Plastics, preferably from the automotive/EV industry. The candidate should have hands-on experience in plastic component development, design validation, tooling coordination, supplier management, and product development activities related to interior and exterior vehicle parts.rnr":" Job Responsibilities: Design and develop plastic components/products as per customer and manufacturing requirements. Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD & NX, Work on plastic trims, aesthetic surfaces, gap & flushness management, and fitment feasibility. Ensure proper control of trims, parting lines, sink marks, ejector marks, and flashes in product design. Develop concepts considering tooling feasibility, Mold flow, manufacturability, and assembly requirements. Coordinate with tooling, quality, and production teams for design improvements and issue resolution. Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure dimensional accuracy of mating parts. Support prototype development, trials, and validation activities. Review supplier drawings and engineering changes for implementation. Maintain design standards, documentation, BOM, and engineering release data. Work closely with cross-functional teams for new product development and cost optimization. Resolve design-related concerns during development and production stages Sheet metal design on CAD and know-how of manufacturing process of sheet metal. Technical / Desired Skills: Strong knowledge of plastic product design and injection molded components. Understanding of tooling concepts, mold design basics, and manufacturing processes. Good knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and drawing standards. Proficiency in CAD software NX[. Understanding of DFM, DFA, and quality requirements. Good communication and coordination skills. Understanding of Electro mechanical product.
