The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient systems that leverage the power of Linux technology. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop custom Linux distributions for specific applications. Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for efficiency. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in Linux systems engineering or distribution. Strong understanding of Linux kernel architecture and internals. Hands-on experience with shell scripting and programming languages. Familiarity with various Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora). Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). Proficient in using version control systems like Git. Solid understanding of networking concepts and configurations. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with bug tracking and issue resolution processes. Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
