Overview The Node.js Developer plays a vital role in our development team, responsible for designing and implementing scalable server-side applications and services. The Node.js Developer will also focus on maintaining high-performance applications, allowing for real-time data processing and efficient server-side logic. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js. Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication. Collaborate with front-end developers on application architecture. Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and standards. Write and maintain unit tests for backend components. Implement security and data protection solutions. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues. Work with databases, including SQL and NoSQL installations. Utilize version control systems for code management. Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes. Continuously learn and apply best practices in software development. Document application architecture and processes clearly. Assist in the migration of legacy systems to Node.js solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ES6 standards. Experience with web server technologies (e.g., Express.js). Familiarity with APIs and web services development. Hands-on experience with asynchronous programming techniques. Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, MongoDB). Experience with version control systems such as Git. Understanding of microservices architecture and design principles. Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging applications. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience using testing frameworks like Mocha or Chai. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
