Working within a collaborative team, the Senior Developer will utilize their extensive experience to design, develop, and enhance applications that meet the specific business needs of our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of software development and the overall business processes that the O9 platform supports. The ideal candidate will bring innovative solutions to complex problems, ensuring that application development is done efficiently and to a high standard of quality. As a senior member of the team, this role will also mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth and strategy of the technology department, making it a key position in driving the company's success in providing state-of-the-art solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy application solutions on the O9 platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement best practices in software development for code quality and debugging. Assist in the planning of software architecture and related project components. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of applications to ensure quality assurance. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members. Optimize performance of existing applications and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Stay updated with latest industry trends and technologies related to O9 and recommend innovations. Provide mentorship and support to junior developers. Document the development processes, code changes, and application features for future reference. Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications as needed. Work closely with product management to prioritize feature development based on user feedback. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. Assist in the deployment of applications and monitor their performance post-launch. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define testing requirements and expected outcomes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Proven experience in O9 development or similar platforms. At least 5 years of experience in software development. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. Experience with SQL and database management systems. Familiarity with cloud services and deployment models. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in performance tuning and application optimization. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of system integration and data migration strategies. Competence in using version control tools such as Git. Understanding of security and data protection protocols. Leadership experience or desire to mentor junior team members.
