Team Lead - Process Automation/Instrumentation - API - CDMO

Design of process automation and controls for scale-up process based on process developed in the lab. Review and approve Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and ensure that the industry standards are maintained. Ensure that the plant modifications are completed as per approved P&ID. Ensure that the automation controls have been designed and appropriate P, I and D values have been incorporated for smooth controls of the process parameters. Design and develop new control strategies and implement in the plant. Design recipe-based automation and its implementation in the plant Work closely with: Process Design and Simulation team for generating simulation data using software for designing control strategies. Tech Transfer and Scale-up teams for reviewing the processes and design calculations for incorporating appropriate instrumentation and automation in suitable documents. Engineering and Production team for implementation and validation of control strategy. Technology Absorption Team (TAT) in the plant for knowledge sharing and coordination in the plant. Quality Assurance team for completion of suitable documents for change management and compliances. Experience : B Tech / M Tech – Chemical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience. Major experience in process design and engineering with process automation/instrumentation is highly preferable
