In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, modeling, and delivering high-quality mechanical components and assemblies for the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities 3D CAD & Modeling: Create, modify, and optimize complex 3D CAD models and 2D detailed engineering drawings using tools such as AutoCAD , CATIA , SolidWorks , and Creo . Engineering & GD&T Standards: Apply core mechanical engineering principles and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing ( GD&T ) to ensure proper fits, tolerances, and manufacturing feasibility. Product Design & Optimization: Work on product concepts, component redesigns, and continuous design improvements to enhance product quality and cost-efficiency. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Guide and mentor junior design team members while collaborating cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams. Manufacturing Integration: Evaluate component specifications, materials, and manufacturing constraints to ensure seamless transition from design to production. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 3 to 8 years in mechanical/automotive design engineering. Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production Engineering. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in CAD design software: AutoCAD , CATIA , SolidWorks , and Creo . Strong expertise in GD&T , mechanical drawing interpretation, and tolerance stack-up analysis. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and automotive engineering .
