In this role, you will lead New Product Development (NPD) projects, apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles, and oversee end-to-end component engineering within the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities New Product Development (NPD): Drive NPD projects from conceptualization and design through prototype testing and mass production execution. Engineering & Design: Utilize 3D CAD modeling software and apply GD&T standards to technical drawings and component designs to ensure accurate manufacturing tolerances. Team Leadership & Coordination: Guide and handle a team of junior engineers, managing daily development workflows and cross-functional coordination. Manufacturing & Process Optimization: Work closely with manufacturing teams to evaluate material specifications, tooling feasibility, and process efficiencies. Root-Cause Analysis: Conduct engineering failure analysis during trial runs, leading design modifications and continuous product improvements. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 3 to 8 years in mechanical/automotive engineering with a core focus on NPD and product design. Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production Engineering. Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in NPD processes , GD&T , and mechanical design tools. Deep understanding of automotive engineering and manufacturing processes .
