About the role
Role & responsibilities: Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Leadership Define and execute the organization's technical vision and roadmap. Lead Solution Architects, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and Support Teams. Drive innovation in IT Infrastructure and Digital Transformation solutions. Ensure adoption of industry best practices and emerging technologies . 2. Solution Design & Architecture Design enterprise IT Infrastructure solutions. Review and approve technical proposals, BOQs, BOMs, HLDs, LLDs, and solution documents. Develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT solutions. Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, and solution workshops. 3. Project Delivery Oversee end-to-end project execution. Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines. Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Conduct project reviews and technical audits. 4. IT Infrastructure Management Provide technical leadership for: Enterprise Networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) Data Center Solutions Server & Storage Virtualization Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) Cyber Security Firewall & VPN Backup & Disaster Recovery Microsoft Infrastructure Linux Platforms Network Monitoring IT Asset Management Managed IT Services (AMC/FMS) 5. ELV & Smart Infrastructure Lead technical execution for: CCTV Surveillance Access Control Systems Video Door Phones Public Address Systems Fire Alarm Systems Structured Cabling Building Management Systems Audio Visual Solutions 6. Customer Engagement Act as the highest technical escalation point. Build long-term customer relationships. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Understand customer business requirements and recommend technology solutions. Support key client presentations and demonstrations. 7. Pre-Sales Support Provide technical support during pre-sales activities. Participate in RFP/RFQ/Tender responses. Prepare technical compliance documents. Validate solution costing and commercial feasibility. Coordinate with OEMs and technology partners. 8. Team Management Lead multidisciplinary technical teams. Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent. Conduct performance reviews and technical competency assessments. Identify training and certification requirements. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning. 9. Vendor & OEM Management Maintain relationships with major OEMs including: Cisco HPE Dell Technologies Lenovo Microsoft VMware Veeam Fortinet Palo Alto Networks Sophos Extreme Networks Juniper Aruba Ruckus NetApp 10. Quality, Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. Develop technical SOPs and best practices. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct periodic technical reviews and audits. 11. Financial Responsibilities Review project profitability and resource utilization. Optimize technical costs. Support budgeting and annual planning. Improve operational efficiency and delivery margins. Master's Degree (MBA/Technology Management) preferred . Experience 15–20+ years in IT Infrastructure, System Integration, or Managed IT Services. 8–10+ years in senior technical leadership roles. Experience handling enterprise, government, BFSI, manufacturing, healthcare, and education projects. Proven experience managing large technical teams and multi-location operations.
