QA Automation Engineer Location: Pune (Hybrid) Experience: 5–9 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in UI and API automation testing to support enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and test strategy implementation in agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing. Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios. Develop and execute automated UI test scripts using Selenium. Perform API automation testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and release quality. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution. Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and QA strategy discussions. Support release validation, production testing, and quality assurance best practices. Maintain automation standards, reusable utilities, and test documentation.

Required Skills Automation & Testing Strong experience in Selenium automation using Java or Python. Experience in REST API testing using: Postman RestAssured Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as: TestNG JUnit Experience in UI, API, regression, and integration testing. DevOps & Tools Experience with Git-based version control. Exposure to CI/CD tools such as: Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI Azure DevOps Knowledge of test reporting and execution management tools. Technical Skills Strong debugging and analytical skills. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Basic SQL/database validation knowledge.

Good to Have Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. Exposure to Docker-based test execution environments. Basic performance or load testing knowledge. Banking or Financial Services domain experience.

Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
