Senior BI Data Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to design and build scalable cloud-based analytics platforms that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data ingestion, modeling, BI enablement, and analytics product development, along with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and deliver high-impact insights at scale.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows using Python and SQL within cloud environments. Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks to process structured and semi-structured data into analytics-ready models. Develop governed semantic layers, curated datasets, and KPI frameworks to support experimentation, reporting, and operational analytics. Create high-quality BI dashboards and analytical products consumed by business and leadership teams. Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and observability practices to ensure reliable analytics delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and analytics products. Design secure data-sharing and access control mechanisms aligned with governance and compliance standards. Drive standardization of metrics, data modeling best practices, and analytics architecture across teams. Support performance optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data platforms. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Python and advanced SQL for data transformation and analytics engineering. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda , or similar cloud data platforms. Expertise in data modeling (dimensional & normalized) and KPI design. Experience building and maintaining BI dashboards using tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI . Solid understanding of data governance, security, and role-based access controls . Experience designing scalable ETL workflows and monitoring data reliability. Strong stakeholder communication and ability to support leadership-level analytics. Nice to Have Experience with experimentation analytics or scoring frameworks Exposure to automation or AI-driven insight generation Knowledge of event telemetry, anomaly detection, or performance monitoring Experience working in high-scale operational or supply chain environments
