About the role
Role & responsibilities 1. IT Strategy & Digital Transformation • Develop and execute the organizations IT roadmap aligned with business objectives of the division. • Lead digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing, finance, supply chain, HR, procurement, and sales. • Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives including IoT, automation, analytics, and smart factory solutions. • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable investments. 2. ERP & Business Applications • Lead implementation, stabilization, enhancement, and support of ERP systems such as SAP, Infor M3, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, WFX, or similar. • Ensure integration between ERP, MES, PLM, payroll, and third-party applications. • Improve business processes through workflow automation and system optimization. • Manage master data governance and reporting systems. 3. Manufacturing Systems Management • Support factory automation and production systems. • Ensure uptime and performance of manufacturing applications and shop-floor systems. • Work closely with production, planning, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams. 4. Infrastructure & IT Operations • Manage enterprise IT infrastructure including: Data centres Cloud platforms Networks Servers End-user computing Backup and disaster recovery • Ensure high system availability across factories and offices. • Manage IT helpdesk and support operations with defined SLAs. 6. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence • Establish MIS, dashboards, and business intelligence platforms. • Support leadership with real-time operational and financial insights. • Promote data-driven decision-making across functions. • Lead analytics initiatives using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. 7. Vendor & Project Management • Manage relationships with IT vendors, implementation partners, and managed service providers. • Negotiate contracts and optimize IT spending. • Lead large-scale IT projects within timelines and budgets. • Ensure proper project governance and stakeholder communication. 8. Team Leadership • Build and mentor high-performing IT teams across locations. • Establish performance metrics and capability development plans. • Foster innovation, accountability, and service orientation within the IT function.
